As a Manufacturing Bobtail Delivery Driver, you will drive an H-E-B vehicle to deliver and unload products from Print and Mail Services to H-E-B Facilities. You'll make sure that product arrives to the facilities in a safe and timely manner so that our customers can receive their orders accurately, damage-free, and on time. You'll also help monitor the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

We are looking for:
- 2+ years of related experience
- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License

What is the work?
Driving:
- Ability to deliver product to/from H-E-B facilities accurately, safely, and on time
- Consistently drives company vehicles, including our 26-foot Bobtail Trucks
- Knowledgeable on usage of dock doors and ramps
- Gathers appropriate paperwork for deliveries; uses manifest to ensure the most efficient delivery route and schedule
- Completes / documents inspection of vehicle per requirements (e.g., pre- / post-trip)
- Responsible for content, condition, and securing of cargo / product within truck for delivery
- Adheres to traffic / safety laws and H-E-B policies
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicle and reports maintenance problems in a timely manner
- Returns any reusable items
- Obtains any Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE) qualification needed to load / unload deliveries
- Loads/Unloads palletized/non-palletized orders at various facilities
- Additional duties as assigned

Clerical:
- Assists with clerical / administrative duties as needed in the Mail Hub when not actively driving
- Sorts, Preps, and Seals Payroll / Expense Checks
- Utilizes envelope inserter and meter machine
- Sends / Receives / Tracks Packages
- Processes Redeemed Coupons
- Additional duties as assigned

What is your background?
- Must have a valid Class C Texas driver's license (CDL not required)
- Minimum age 21 (mandatory)
- Excellent driving record
- No moving violations or preventable accidents in the past 3 (three) years
- No DWI, DUI, or related convictions
- No felony convictions
- Pass a background screening and Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check (at time of entry and on a periodic basis)
- Pass the H-E-B Bobtail Certification Course
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

- Unload delivery vehicles
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 55 lbs.

- Work extended shifts and fluctuating hours / days based on business needs, including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Complete required training, as needed
